This Refund and Return Policy outlines the conditions under which you may return or exchange items purchased from our website shreyafashionjewellery.com or our retail store at 78 North Main St, New Jersey 07746, USA. This policy is designed in accordance with applicable United States consumer protection laws, including the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines and New Jersey consumer protection statutes.

1. Return Eligibility

You may request a return or exchange within thirty (30) days of receiving your order, provided the following conditions are met:

  • The item is in its original, unworn, and undamaged condition
  • All original tags, labels, and packaging are intact
  • The item is accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase
  • The item has not been altered, resized, engraved, or customized
  • The item shows no signs of wear, scratches, or damage caused by the customer

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Custom-made or personalized jewelry (engraved, custom-designed, or made-to-order pieces)
  • Earrings and body jewelry (for hygiene and safety reasons)
  • Items purchased during clearance or final sale events (clearly marked at the time of purchase)
  • Gift cards and store credits
  • Items damaged due to customer negligence, misuse, or improper care
  • Items returned after the 30-day return window

3. How to Initiate a Return

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  • Contact our customer service team at contact@shreyafashionjewellery.com or call (848) 863-8456 within 30 days of receiving your order
  • Provide your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return
  • Our team will review your request and, if approved, provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return shipping instructions
  • Package the item securely in its original packaging and include the RMA number on the outside of the package
  • Ship the item to the address provided using a trackable and insured shipping method

Please do not send returns without first obtaining an RMA number. Unauthorized returns may not be processed.

4. Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a defective or incorrect item. We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged in transit. For defective or incorrect items, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you.

5. Refund Process

Once we receive your returned item and verify that it meets our return conditions, we will process your refund as follows:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase
  • Credit card refunds typically appear on your statement within 5-10 business days, depending on your card issuer
  • PayPal refunds are typically processed within 3-5 business days
  • If you paid by check or money order, a refund check will be mailed to your billing address within 10-14 business days

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped or defective product).

6. Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item for a different size, style, or design, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order. Exchanges are subject to product availability. If the exchanged item is of a higher price, you will be charged the difference. If the exchanged item is of a lower price, the difference will be refunded to your original payment method.

7. Defective or Damaged Items

If you receive a defective or damaged item, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order. Please include photographs of the damage or defect along with your order number. We will arrange for a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you, including return shipping charges.

8. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received a refund within the expected timeframe, first check with your bank or credit card company as processing times may vary. If you've done this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at contact@shreyafashionjewellery.com and we will investigate the matter.

9. Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement for a full refund. After 24 hours, if the order has already been shipped, you will need to follow our standard return process. Custom or personalized orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun.

10. Warranty

All jewelry purchased from Shreya Fashion Jewellery comes with a one (1) year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal wear conditions. The warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, improper care, unauthorized repairs, or normal wear and tear. To make a warranty claim, please contact our customer service team with your order number and a description and photographs of the defect.

11. In-Store Returns

Items purchased online may also be returned at our retail location at 78 North Main St, New Jersey 07746, USA during regular store hours. Please bring the original receipt or order confirmation and the item in its original condition and packaging.

12. Chargebacks

We encourage customers to contact us directly to resolve any issues before initiating a chargeback with their bank or credit card company. Filing a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue with us may result in delays in resolution and potential account restrictions.

13. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund and Return Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the Site. The version in effect at the time of your purchase will apply to that transaction.
